been working hard, sending out tons of resumes and emailing everyone
you can think of asking for an informational interview. Job hunting can
be a full-time job itself, and it’s exhausting. But now the holidays are
fast approaching, and it’s time to give the job search, and yourself, a
rest. Nothing is going to happen between December 24th and January 2nd,
so take a break! Enjoy spending time with your family and friends, eat
some good food, and watch a bowl game or two. If you feel like you just
can’t help but think about where your career is headed next, allow
yourself 15 minutes to write down some New Year’s resolutions. Set goals
for networking, applications, and interviews. Push yourself to try
something new, like becoming a member of Democratic GAIN! Then put the
list away until 2011 because seriously, it’s time to chill out for
awhile. Happy Holidays!
