After working on a congressional campaign in Washington State and the Kerry effort in Florida last cycle, I had been looking for a political job for months with no success. Then I found Democratic GAIN. It had great jobs listed that I would have never found anywhere else. I'm now working for a well-respected Democratic pollster in DC - a job I found at DemocraticGAIN.org - and couldn't be happier. This site is a great tool for political operatives, the Democratic Party, and progressives in general. I highly recommend this site, especially to people that are qualified and committed but can't seem to find a job because they lack the right connections. Since utilizing Democratic GAIN, I have interviewed with the National PIRGs as well as the Virginia Coordinated Campaign, and the Kaine for Governor campaign. In some instances, I have had job offers but have had to turn them down based on extenuating circumstances, and in some cases I have been beat out for a job that I may have really wanted. Nonetheless, I am glad that I have had these opportunities, and I may not have been able to have had those chances without use of your organization.
