Thursday night was truly incredible. I was so honored to be at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia along with my Democratic GAIN teammates to witness Hillary Clinton make history - wait, make that HERstory - by becoming the first woman to accept the presidential nomination of a major American political party. As a woman and as an American, I could not help but to shed tears of joy at this incredible milestone, and that I live in a nation where this is possible. If you have not already seen it, I highly encourage you to check out Hillary’s speech here!
This moment is an amazing one and absolutely should be celebrated - but, as progressive organizers, our job is far from done! With less than 100 days to go, the polls all over the place and an opposing candidate who is utterly unpredictable and will say just about anything to win, we cannot take a single moment - or vote - for granted! If you believe in the progress we’ve made under President Obama these past eight years - and want to keep moving forward, not back - we need you out in this field! DemocraticGAIN can help you get started with our 2016 Resume Bank. Submit your resume here to share it with Hillary for America and other supporting organizations across the country.
Let’s guard the change - and keep moving forward - “Stronger Together”!
