Posted By Brian Stauber, GAIN Intern, Thursday, March 3, 2011

Ready to get off the campaign trail and use what you learned in college from those all-nighters? Do you want to get your hands dirty and get into crafting and analyzing policy?

Jobs are always popping up in think tanks and policy organizations, no matter if it’s a campaign cycle. However, the field is very competitive, especially with today’s job market. You will need that extra push to land yourself a position inside if one of these groups!

That’s why next Thursday GAIN is hosting Speed Networking: Think Tanks and Policy! In short, it’s a blitz of meeting and getting connected with representatives from some big names in policy. Participants will include: Rebecca Barson - Policy Analyst, Planned Parenthood Federation of America; Jake Berliner -Deputy Policy Director, NDN ; Hilary Doe - National Director, Roosevelt Institute Campus Network; and Danielle Lee - Assistant to the VP, Communications, The Brookings Institution. Additional names are being added in the coming week, so stay tuned for more!

You can find the registration link here. But be aware, space is limited and will fill up very fast. Don’t delay and register as soon as possible if you wish to attend. While you’re add it, become a paid GAIN member and get discounts on this and other GAIN events, as well as other great perks!

So brush off that suit, polish your resume, and sign up for Speed Networking!
