Not sure if it's the right option for you?

Join Democratic GAIN for a panel discussion on the pros and cons of going to Law School. We'll be joined by some fantastic speakers for a chance to hear about how their law degree has effected their career. You'll have a chance to ask specific questions and meet others that are thinking of attending law school. 

Speakers include:

  • Jonah Goldman, Vice President at The Glover Park Group. Former Director, National Campaign for Fair Elections at Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights. Received his JD from Boston College Law School.

  • David Burd, VP of Business Development & In-House Counsel, Earth Aid, Inc. Former National Coordinator, Young Lawyers for Obama. Received his JD at Harvard Law School.

  • Joi Chaney, Special Assistant to the Chair of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Former Policy Director and Counsel of the U.S. Senate Policy Committee and Current co-chair, DC Democratic Lawyers Council. Received her JD at Harvard Law School.

  • Bandele McQueen, Senior Advisor at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLC. Former Deputy Director, DC Office of the Chicago Mayor. Received his JD at the William & Mary School of Law.

  • Hayley Zachary, Finance Director for Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords for Congress. Former Communications Director of  Progressive Strategies LLC. Currently working on her JD at American University Law School.
