(NOTE: this is not a Democratic GAIN event, but it is a great networking opportunity so we are passing along the information and encouraging participation)

WIN's Women Opening Doors for Women (WODW) Event celebrates the founding of the WIN organization 20 years ago around a kitchen table, when women came together to help each other achieve professional success.  WODW consists of two parts: a networking reception, followed by 35 simultaneous dinner parties.  This year, the networking reception includes a keynote speech by Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz as well as an opportunity to mingle with the WIN community.  Immediately after the reception, the dinner parties will take place in private homes and businesses throughout the DC area.

Your WODW dinner party will be like the first WIN event - an intimate, informal, issue-focused gathering.  This year's topics range from achieving work-life balance to eco-consciousness and international women's rights to making unexpected career moves.  The WODW dinners are a unique opportunity to learn from and network with both accomplished and up-and-coming women who share your passions. Special note:  WIN welcomes and encourages male colleagues and friends to attend our networking reception and keynote address, but the dinners are reserved for the primary audience: pro-choice, Democratic women.
